As part of our Continuing Care Program at Anthony Funeral Chapel, we will be offering a support group for women who have experienced the loss of their husband. The support group will begin on Thursday, October 7, 2010 to November 11, 2010. We will meet every Thursday from 10:30 AM until Noon for six weeks at the Monroe Ave. Funeral Chapel. This support group is a six-week commitment. Attendance is very important to the success of the group.
I have a Bereavement Facilitator Certification and will facilitate the group. We will spend time talking about common reactions to grief and strategies that may help you as you work through your grief. This will be an opportunity to share your story of loss with others who understand what grief feels like.
If you have a friend that has recently experienced the loss of their husband, please invite them to join us. We ask that you call us at 244-0770 by Monday, September 27th to register for this group. There is no charge to attend. Please call me if you have questions or concerns.
